We know our riders value the size and clarity of data, as well as screen real estate for navigation. By cutting a few mm of the width, while maintaining the height, we are able to show almost all data at the same font size as before, while reducing the size of the device. 
All data and navigation appear the exact same size on the Karoo 2 as on the Karoo 1, without sacrificing font size, clarity, or navigation real estate.
