No Garmin adapter necessary with K-Edge
AnsweredI recently purchased a Canyon Aeroad SLX, K-Edge mount and the Hammerhead Karoo 2. I assumed I was going to have to use the backwards-compatible Garmin adapter mount for the Karoo 2, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that the Hammerhead proprietary mount fit perfectly into the cup of the K-Edge.
I am also using the Garmin Varia UT800 front light, and the whole setup is just so incredibly rock solid, I couldn't be happier.
Actually, I take that back – I would totally be happier if Hammerhead worked on ANT+ support for the lighting profile. Either that, or create your own light system! Let's give Garmin a run for their money.

Gabriel - this indeed looks solid set up. We are also working with 3rd-party companies to work on our Hammerhead mounting system.
For the ANT+ light control - you may follow the last few comments here: https://support.hammerhead.io/hc/en-us/community/posts/360048819494-Feature-request-Control-ant-lights

I was really happy to see this thread.
I was able to install the Karoo 2 mount on my K-Edge Aeromount on my Canyon Endurace. I have an older mount and I had to cut up the Garmin insert and use it as shim. Once that was a done it worked like a charm. The K2 is closer to the handlebar and clicks in nicely. It has a great feel.
