Karoo 2 ordering frustration
AnsweredI am in group F and according to an email I received. The Hammerhead website says I must pay the balance the week of January 4. Karoo 2 Pre-order Fulfilment Status – Hammerhead .
This page Karoo 2 Pre-Order Process – Hammerhead says
- Go to www.hammerhead.io
- Click on “pre-order the Karoo 2”
- Proceed to checkout, enter your payment details and your personal details, and complete your refundable $99 USD pre-order down payment.
Well, there is no link at www.hammerhead.io that says “pre-order the Karoo 2” at the bottom of the page there is a "Buy Now" button and that takes you to an input page that says:
"Please enter your email below. Karoo 2 is currently only available for Pre-Order customers." Well it will not accept my email.
Is this process discombobulated or am I missing something?
Maybe I should be waiting for another email? I just don't know what is going on.

My understanding is that you will shortly receive an email inviting you to complete your order on the Hammerhead web site. You cannot complete your order until you receive the email, at which point I anticipate the web site will accept your email address. Your experience is the same as mine, so far.
That said, I may be completely wrong and I'm sure somebody from the Hammerhead support team will be along shortly to correct me.
I'm also in Batch F and also eagerly awaiting the email to complete my order.

I'm having a similar experience. Pre-order completed on Aug 25th, email received on Dec 16th stating it's time to complete the pre-order. Only problem is website does not recognize my email address and will not apply the $99 payment. Sent email requesting info but haven't heard anything.
