Incorrect timezone used in display on Karoo2
The last few rides since Saturday June 15 the displayed time is showing 2 hours earlier than it actually is (both before & after the latest update) though the correct time is recorded once the ride uploads to the website. The correct time is shown momentarily at the start & end of the ride when connecting to WiFi but as soon as there is a GPS connection the wrong timezone is used. I have automatic timezone set, I can set it manually to the correct timezone but it reverts back to the incorrect one as soon as I set to automatic. The timezone being used is Australian Western Standard Time whereas it should be Australian Eastern Standard Time. The same problem occurs on both mine and my husbands Karoo2 so it must be a software rather than a hardware problem.
I see that this was a problem 3 years ago and was fixed at this time but this is a new problem for me. I also see that someone else had the same problem in Australia a few weeks ago but their problem was able to be fixed by disabling the sim card and rebooting, however I do not have a sim card, so this doesn't help me.

After the latest software update the timezone issue appears to have been resolved. I had to revert to auto timezone first but the last 2 rides since then have defaulted to the correct timezone rather than Western Australia. Also resolved on my husbands Karoo2. The release notes didn't indicate any changes that would affect it, but obviously something has ...?

Yep, Having the same issue. This error came out of nowhere.
I'm on Eastern (EST) Zone, but it was putting me on Los Angeles (PST) for some reason. Happened on my last two rides. I do have the latest software as of Aug 12, 2024.
I forced the time and time zone for now and not auto, but this is a very strange bug.
