    Hi Phillip,

How does it work at the moment. I have just ordered a Karoo 2 and am interested in both Live Segements and CLIMBER. I was wondering how they would work if an upcoming live segement was also a CLIMBER compatible climb! As both features have a 'segement coming up / CLIMBER coming up' function, how does this display and what takes priority, and how do you switch between the two? Because lets face it, inevitably, most Live Segments are often decent sized climbs!

    Hi Matt,

Both will pop-up on your screen and you can "scroll" between the two by selecting the tab at the bottom of the screen. If you are navigating at the same time then there will also be a tab for navigation.  If you look at the info here...

    Strava Live Segments – Hammerhead

it short of shows the tabs - but only the orange one for the live segment.  Climber will be blue and navigation yellow.  From memory you get an alert and which come first is simply a case of which starts first, the segment or the climb.

Love my Karoo 2.  One great feature (which my Lezyne Mega didn't have) is an audio and visual alert if you are moving but not recording the ride. i.e.  remembered to start the recording at the start of your ride.  Make sure you know how to lock the touchscreen because in the very wet and very hot I've had drops of moisture / sweat hit the screen and "try" and pause / stop the recording.

    Thanks chap.

I wondered if the coloured bars were tabs. Quite an elegant solution. How do you switch between the tabs as they seem to be very small bars and hard to click on - is it a case of swiping up twice and they become bigger as seems to be shown in the animation?

edit - think I found the answer: https://support.hammerhead.io/hc/en-us/articles/1260803722809-In-ride-Drawer-system

That's the one. The more tabs / draws you have showing the smaller the finger you need to be able to select them. If I have Climber, Live Segments and Navigation tabs then a fat thumb isn't pointy enough. Sometimes the pinky finger has to be wheeled out..

Going forwards to colder times I'm going to have to rely on the buttons as none of my gloves are touchscreen "enabled".  That or find out if those stick-on pads work and stay stuck on.

It would nice to disable tabs you don't use.

It would also be nice to set a priority for the tabs. Maybe I want the Climber tab to always be on top when there is a Strava segment in progress, because I care more about the upcoming climb data, or maybe the TbT should be on top, then Climber, then Strava. Or something along those lines. Some level of user customization.

What I don't want is for someone to tell me to just change tabs when I might be in the middle of a 10% climb and touching my K2 is the last thing on my mind.
