Ride not recording message

How can I turn off the annoying  'Ride not recording' message on my screen? It shows up a lot of times....

  If you forget to start recording the ride (starting a ride or resuming from a manual pause) when you are moving, a red notification banner showing "Ride not recording" will be displayed.

  An audio alert is also played as a reminder to start or resume recording your ride.

  | Note: Tapping the alert would begin recording again and
  swiping the banner would dismiss the notification from the screen |

  Hi Mike, are you seeing the Ride not recording message when a ride is already in progress and has already been recording? I thought I was seeing things on my K2 a few times but it is indeed a sudden red banner saying exactly that, and with no prior interaction from me.

  Everytime I start a ride the K2 forces me to start ride recording. But I don't want to record every ride. I get autosaved "Evening rides" and "Afternoon rides" which I have to delete manually afterwards. Please give us an option to disable auto ride recording.

  If would be great if the message "Ride not recording" is clearer and more prominent on the screen and easier to read, for example a large red button in the middle of the screen with the message: "Start ride or cancel ride". It often happens to me that I only notice it after a few kilometers because I didn't start the ride because I swipe directly to the map The current message is also difficult to read at the moment
