recieving text messages on iphone on karoo 2

I receive emails on my karoo2, but never test messages.   My phone connects no problem and the text message box is checked but i never receive notification on my head unit.   Am I doing something wrong? Someone told me on wahoo's that an apple watch will interfere with this setting.  is it the same on Karoo 2?   Thanks for any help

  Thank you for posting we are sorry to hear about the patchy phone notifications on your Karoo! Could you unpair the karoo from your phone and reboot the unit. Then please follow this article: iPhone Smartphone Notifications

  Hello, 

  Im still not getting text messages on my Karoo 2. I have all the correct messages checked and have re paired the unit several times. I do ride with an apple watch. Does that have anything to do with it, will it interfere?

  I am having the same issue- also with AppleWatch.

  re-boot

  un pair / re-pair 

  Please advise.
