Karoo2 not turning on

My Karoo2 turned off on a ride last week, I put it on charge, now it wont turn on, completely dead.

  Hi Allen, could you please try these steps?

  • Plug in the charger to the unit

  • Leave for couple of minutes

  • Press power ON button (button B)

  • You will be able to see the charging animation on the screen

  • Check that there is no foreign material or moisture inside the USB-C port on the device.

  • Ensure that the unit and charging cable does not heat up after being plugged in for 30 seconds

  • Check whether pressing power button shows charging animation after 10 minutes, if not check after 1 hour.

  • Lastly perform a Hard reset from the buttons combination. Check this article: Performing a Hard-Reset on your Karoo 2
