Resume after pause doing weird things ( not working, data loss)

While beeing mid ride, I paused (me and the karoo) for a coffee break. In the meantime, the Karoo went to stand by/off. After the break I switched it on again and it asked me to resume the ride, what I did. But then it asked me to resume again, what I did, because I assumed I didn‘t hit the button correctly. And then the weird thing happend: the Karoo resumed an old ride somewhere near the end. Means: I paused my current ride after about 30 km and paused (Karoo went to stand by/off). After resuming it resumed with 122 km and the current 30 km are lost.
