Third-party Sync allows riders to automatically sync their Training Metrics (FTP, power zones, heart rate zones, rider weight) from their training platform of choice to Karoo.
You can sync from Strava, Training Peaks, intervals.icu, and any third-party connecting through our public API. The information that can be synced depends on the data each training platform makes available through its integration with the Hammerhead Dashboard.
Here are the steps to sync Training Metrics from a third-party account:
- Select "Settings" on the Sidebar Menu.
- Click on "Training Metrics".
- Under "Third-party Sync", select the preferred third-party account.
Notes:
Only third-party accounts that are already connected can be selected as sync partners.
When syncing for the first time, you may be prompted to reauthorise your connected account so that we can access and sync all available data.
You cannot change your sync partner via Karoo. Changes must be made via the dashboard.
On Karoo, you can view your sync partner by going to Training Metrics under Settings.
If any recent changes are not reflecting on Karoo, manually sync via this page.
If you do not want to use Third Party Sync, you also have the option to manually update your Training metrics on your Hammerhead Dashboard.
Just select "Manually edit Metrics" under "Third Party Sync".
